Within the Taxes link find the settings for your tax rate.

Create a New Tax Rate:

 

Click the New button located at the top of the window.

 

The "Edit Tax" page will appear and you will be able to adjust the items.

 

Country: click on the drop down menu to locate the country you would like the tax rate to affect.

 

State/Region: click the drop down menu to locate the state or region (or all states/regions) you would like the tax rate to affect.

 

Postal/Zip Code: type the postal or zip code here for the location you would like the tax rate to affect. If you would like the rate to affect all postal/zip codes leave this field blank.

 

Rate: type the percentage rate here. Example: if you would like to create a 5.25% tax rate type 5.25.

 

Apply to Items of Type: click the drop down menu to select either all taxable items or the EU (European Union) taxable items.

 

Click the "Save Changes" button when you are finished creating the Tax Rate.

 

 

 

 

Edit an Existing Tax Rate:

 

Click the Edit button within the tax rate you would like to edit.

 

The "Edit Tax" page will appear and you will be able to adjust the items.

 

Country: click on the drop down menu to locate the country you would like the tax rate to affect.

 

State/Region: click the drop down menu to locate the state or region (or all states/regions) you would like the tax rate to affect.

 

Postal/Zip Code: type the postal or zip code here for the location you would like the tax rate to affect. If you would like the rate to affect all postal/zip codes leave this field blank.

 

Rate: type the percentage rate here. (Example: if you would like to create a 5.25% tax rate type 5.25).

 

Apply to Items of Type: click the drop down menu to select either all taxable items or the EU (European Union) taxable items.

 

Click the "Save Changes" button when you are finished editing the Tax Rate.
