Use the Keyword Suggestion Tool to Improve SEO Efforts

SEO keywords are the key words and phrases in website content that make it possible for people to find a site via search engines. These targeted words determine which category a site will be listed under in search engines and directories,as well as words that searchers input to search engines in order to find relevant sites.

SmarterStats' built-in keyword suggestion tool can help webmasters and SEO analysts find keywords for their websites that may help improve the volume or quality of traffic their sites receive from search engines. NOTE: To use the keyword suggestion tool, you will need to have a list of current keywords or a list of phrases for which you think people are searching to visit your website. The keyword suggestion tool will use these phrases to suggest additional keywords that search engine users might use to find your website.

Follow these steps to use the keyword suggestion tool and enhance your SEO efforts:

1. Log in to SmarterStats as the site administrator.
2. Click the SEO icon.
3. Click Keyword Suggestions in the navigation pane.
4. Click Get Suggestions in the content pane toolbar.
5. In the Keywords field, type the keywords that you would use to search for your website or a competitor's site.
6. Click OK.

The list of suggested keywords and phrases will load in the content pane.
